B with 302 + T5
On Bat where as I've said before I can't copy the pics... please do if you can... this B roadster in Butterscotch with white stripe and side pipes... looks better than it sounds... bidding ends 2nd Feb.
Been on the road a few years... might be a past BV8 project car... but there are so many of them... Take a look [bringatrailer.com] Likely to be cheap as the builder has passed and the seller (his brother) knows nothing about it. Ivor |

Re: B with 302 + T5
And in contrast, also on BaT we have this well-executed vanilla BGT with 215, where the seller is engaged and bidding is brisk.
[bringatrailer.com] Not hard to see which will make more money, even though this car is in Canada. Now, as to which one is more fun to drive, that's another matter.... The takeaway... if you're going to sell on BaT, better know what you're selling. Ivor |

Re: B with 302 + T5
So the 302 roadster with a seller who didn't know what he was selling, made $16,250 against a reserve of $17k, so probably sold.
In contrast the BGT with 215 made $30k. Ivor |
Re: B with 302 + T5
The Blue Canadian BGT that sold for 30k was a deal for someone. I was watching that car from the day it hit BaT. I was sure it was going for much more than it sold for. If it had more time, I'm sure it would have. Really well done conversion.
