Baris u like B turbo
Not a V8, but I have to draw your attention to this remarkable re-imagining of the B that's on BaT.

Re: Baris u like B turbo
I like this car. Someone invested a lot of passion, skill, and hard work. It's a shame they're not credited for it in the Bring-a-Trailer write-up.
My first thought is that this might be a Barry Preston / Brooklands car, but it doesn't match other ones I found photos of. (A number of Barry's cars appeared in the old British V8 Newsletter, and particularly in the Canadian Corner column.) I have a hunch the builder of this car was at least familiar with Barry's work. Did you guys notice the DynaQuip valve on the heelboard behind the driver's seat? Must be a fuel line shutoff, I guess. I don't recall seeing that feature on an MGB before. |

Re: Baris u like B turbo
Sort of answers the question of "When is an MGB no longer an MGB?" And I think the answer is, when everything possible has been done to eliminate the MGB identity.

Re: Baris u like B turbo
Haha yes, but like the TR4 becoming the TR6, the centre section does rather give it away.
Then again, there's a new possibility for C&C.... guess what this car was?.... |

There were a few other cars that used the MGB windshield...
