Important Anniversary !
Posted by: Bill Young
Date: April 02, 2009 04:02PM

Guys, Monday the 6th will be the second anniverasry of the Roadmaster madness. It was only two years ago that Jim posted his first mutterings about the possibility of fitting a big block Buick into a MG. [www.mgexperience.net]
We've come a long way in that short time, close to having a running car at the 09 V8 Meet. Thanks to everyone who has helped to make it possible, I'll lift a glass on Monday to the entire crew. See you in NC.

Does not seem like two years.

BTW...we need funding.

I will accept checks written to BADASS or PayPal payments to mowog1@aol.com Please indicate on any PayPal payment that it is a BADASS donation.

Any funds that I receive will be forwarded to Steve DeGroat, BADASS Exchequer.

They keep about 3-1/2% on recent transactions that I've had with Pieces of Eight!. I would write a check to send to Steve from PayPal contributions...eliminating the double-dipping possibility for PayPal.

You have to look at it as an easy, trackable, safe method of accepting contributions (easier to click on PayPal and make a donation immediately rather than trying to remember to write and check AND mail it)

I would rather have $96.50 out of $100.00 than "good intentions"....Plus, there is no possibility of a bounced check, etc. (Not that any of us would intentionally do that!)

:)

Hey Bill, today's the day!
It's as good as any I guess. Kinda hard to say exactly when it all started really. I don't know about you guys, but to me it feels more like 3 or 4 years! It's only been 2? Really? Amazing.

Jim

I know you were kicking it around before April 6, but I think it became official on this day two years ago.

I think you have a great idea, Jim. I would love to see this concept car happen.

To get the ball rolling, I have a spare T-5 to donate for this project."

Happy Anniversary!!
