Not TR8 but, have had good luck with Viton Perfect Circle type valve seals. Look on Ebay for Viton seals, come in different sizes. Guides need to be cut down. Mr Gasket makes a cutter for your hand drill. I just put them on the intake and use the O rings on the SBC exhaust valves.

Install new rover v8 (3.9, 4.0, 4.2) intake valves guides and seals. Cheap and easy to do as they are a straight exchange. Change your exhaust guides while you are at it as they are probably worn also, but don't worry about seals. Intake sucks oil down the guide, exhaust blows up, not down the guide.

I like teflon seals on the intakes and umbrella seals on the exhaust. Even valve guides need a little lubricant.

Charlie, Valve seals will not replace worn away guides. Putting new seals on worn guides, will cause short term failure of the seals. Good Luck. roverman.
