Turbo 2.3 TR7 introduction
Hello, I just wanted to say hello to all and introduce my trusty TR7 turbo. It has served me well since I finished it (is a hotrod project ever finished??) back in 2008.
[home.roadrunner.com] is where I began to chronicle the build in 2006. I continued on the Turboforums [www.theturboforums.com] starting in 2007. The car is about ready to get freshened up with new paint and a front brake upgrade, otherwise it is just a fun car with excellent manners that holds two sets of golf clubs in the trunk! |

Jim, So now that golf is over for the year you have time for the rest of us Triumph guys. Good to see the car again. Built a new work shop for mine.

Re: Turbo 2.3 TR7 introduction
LOL You got that right, Dale!
I like the mods you did to your car. I have a TR6 and a TR250 here to put together. I'm going to do the TR250 first, I think. It'll be all stock. I might do something with the TR6, though. We'll see. ;) |

Hi Jim,
That makes (I guess) 3 of us TurboFord Guys that have made it over here as it seems my 76, Capri's are acceptable. |
Re: Turbo 2.3 TR7 introduction
We don't exactly fit right anywhere!
I love that Capri. Awesome job on it Don. Another little project I may take on is to do a power steering rack adaptation on the TR. It probably won't be from the TR8, though. I'm looking into other options. I am still tidying up a few things on the 5.0 Thunderbird turbo project now as well. |
