TVR and TR6 (?) NIssan based hub and axle mods

I'm doing this on my TVR but may be of interest to anyone looking for TR6 axle upgrades since the uprights and axles share similar geometry. Good Parts and The Drive Shaft Shop can both provide nice axles, but at a substantial cost. I've been working on putting together something more homebrew and cheaper. The pics show a 350z bearing retainer held in a custom plate that holds the bearing and mounts to the TVR/TR6 upright. The hub is 4 bolt 240sx (same wheel pattern as TVR/TR6) and the outer CV/stub is Q45 which I believe is the same as the 240sx, was what I found in the junkyard. Anyway, Dutchman and others can cut and re-spline appropriate used axles for around $150/pair. I'm using VW type 2 100mm cv's on the inners to mount to my Jaguar lsd differential using some adapters, but same could be done for the TR6 differential. I'm keeping the inboard brakes from the Jag. This setup retains the standard track width with a 2" offset from outside of hub flange to the upright mating surface. The much documented Nissan rear caliper adapters could be used if you don't mind pushing the track out, or will be using modern wheels with more offset. Total cost so far:

240sx hubs off craigslist: $50
Q45 axles out of pick and pull: $60
350z bearings: 2x $25
axle re-splining: $150
I'm using some Audi axles I had sitting around, but if you had to buy some Empi T2 axles: 2 x $75

Total (less adapter material and my machining time): $460ish, about a third the price of custom axles.

What would you charge for a set of the adapters?
I have been looking at the same thing, even have a set of Nissan hubs.
Plus I have a set of Mazda 3 rear brakes that have the E brake built in

yeah i would be intereste as well in the hub adapters for the TR6.. i have the good parts diff mounting kit and q45 diff ready to go but also have the complete q45 drive axles out of the differential donor car. the hub adapter was holding me back from using it. Shame for them to go to waste.

btw the four bolt 240sx hubs were from 89-94 after that 5 bolt.

Looks like the VW T2 axles would be too skinny to re-spline for the Nissan stuff. So starting with the Nissan axles might be a better bet. Nissan has the input of the R200 centered so the axles are different lengths left to right with the right side being the longer of the two. "Rebuilt" they're $85-130, or like I said around $60 for a pair from a yard. I would want to know from someone how well the outer Q45 CV fits inside the TR6 hub carrier. It's a little tight on the TVR.
