Apologies for keeping this one to myself, but I might bid on it... or not.

Anyway, good-looking Stag, no body mods, in fact nothing for me to moan about at all.

Stag LT1.jpg

LT1, TH350, BMW M5 rear axle and front brakes, pro conversion.
Matching set of instruments, all working.
Little rust hole in one footwell. Stags & rust go together like a horse & carriage, so might be more but nothing visible other than some surface stuff in the soft-top recess, so maybe it's all OK.

The engine has alloy heads.

Already bid to $13,667 so It's not going to be cheap, but when one thinks of the cost and time to reproduce, starting with a rust-free car..........

Car is in Redwood CA. Better be quick, ends in 34 hours..

It occurs to me if a SBC will fit, then a 4.3 woudl fit easier and has more than enough power. Just a thought. Swapping the diff might be the hardest part.

Just found out they also made an aluminum 4.3 V6. Probably an overall even better fit though it looks taller with bulkier manifold. No hood bumps allowed
