Removing dizzy

Hi, I have a RR P38 engine and I am going to remove the dizzy and install electronic ignition (Megasquirt). Does anyone know where I can get a plug for the hole left by removal of the dizzy? Rimmer Bros don't have anything.

Thanks
Mike

No, but I have happily used the Lumenition Optronic system on a number of cars, retains the dizzy.
Currently in my Land Rover with Rover V8, and my Rambler with factory 327.

Does that engine have a crank-driven oil pump? If not, you will need something to drive the oil pump. I saw, but can't find anymore, a place in the UK that will remove the top of the dizzy and put on a nice caps.

Check out the "dumpy dizzy":

If you still need to drive the oil pump, check out the "dinky dizzy":
