Spitfire 289 V8 front springs and shocks

My front suspension on a 1964 Spitfire with a 1968 Ford 289 is pretty well bottomed out. I have driven the car for years and it is now to the point where I need to replace what is there as far as springs and shocks are concerned. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If the spit uses the same diameter springs you can buy TR6 spring spacers for about $20 each.

Thanks. I have a 71 TR6. I will take a look at those shocks.

I would replace the springs with uprated ones without spacers, plus uprated shocks.
