Triumph Renown-Ratrod

Hi

Can anyone offer some advice ?

I have just bought a 1951 Triumph Renown, that has been sitting in a field for years and beyond rebuilding, However rather than let it die completely I am going to use the chassis and whats left of the body for a rat rod type project.

Does anyone have any information/guidance regarding swaping of parts that may be standard on other triumphs, Tr's etc, I am especially interested in upgrading the front suspension to cope with the weight of a large V8,

All constructive advice welcome !

Pictures of the existing chassis would help, don't know the design so recommending suspension would be moot at this point.
First thought is the complete crossmember from an MGB, easy to swap into most any chassis and well developed for use with various V8s so improved springs, brakes, and bushings readily available.
Interesting body style, it should make a really nice hot rod sedan.
