There's a blue "hyperlink" at the top of the message-entry box (below). When you click on it, the box it's in enlarges and lists your photo options. After you upload your picture, you can even move it around in your message relative to your text, and you can go into and out of "preview" mode. There are a couple more tips in one of the threads in the "Test Message" forum. Cheers!

p.s. I'm glad to see you here Les!

Les, you have me worried. Let's see what happens when I try to upload a picture of your TR6...

Okay... this seems to be working from my computer. Maybe the new message board doesn't like to see blank spaces in the names of attached files or something along those lines? Let me know if you can deduce anything. Did/do the uploaded images appear when you clicked on the "preview" button?

I must be doing something wrong, I get to browse and pick, but nothing gets transfered. I checked the size and it was over the limmit. Now I have it. Not my car but its the only small photo I had.

Check out that nice new avatar. Good job, Les!

Jim and Kelly: today I moved the "Attach a Photo" button to below the message field (where it'll be more obvious) and I also modified the Control Center so uploading avatar files and selecting between avatars (if you upload more than one) are both on the same ("Edit My Profile") page, along with clearer instructions plus a link to a FREE image editing program (in case you want/need it.)

OK guys what is going on ? This is the only thread I can post a message on. My pass word does not allow me to post messages on other threads. Anyway maybe I can ask the question here. As I look at the events planed for the 2008 meet, I do not see any driving events. Are any planned? If so can someone fill us in?

Les, I've looked into this and I can't even figure out how it would be possible for a person to be blocked from forum and yet still post in another... if your password works here it should work all across the whole message board! We do have a "ban list", but you're not on it. The ban list is mostly full of Russian e-mail addresses. (A lot of message board spam comes out of Russia.) We also have a censored-word list, but it wouldn't block a whole message from appearing. It only blocks swear words from appearing.

My best guess would be that there's some sort of issue with the "cookie" that is supposed to automatically log you on (so that you don't have to enter your password every time you visit.) I'll keep probing. Let me know if your symptoms change.

Paul and Mary have promised that a preliminary schedule for the meet will be available for me to post later this month. All I know for certain is that we'll be autocrossing and valve-cover racing - but that doesn't mean we won't have other driving events too. There will be a visit to Road America, but I don't recall the exact details. I know we won't get the same sort of track time there as we had in Ohio... for one thing they'll be getting the track ready for the big vintage races later that week.
