triumph wiring diagrams

I've notice the diagrams have circles on some wires. There are lines, x's and +'s with various segments filled in.
I couldn't find a legend explaining the meaning of these symbols.
Can anyone help in this matter>

Probably a symbol for a connecter. Wedge wires have tons of plug style connectors where they pass thru bulkheads, or branch off of the main harness.

Yes, thats what i assumed.
There are multiple symbols used, i hope someone might know what they represent
