After ages of stripping, scraping, sanding, pounding, welding, sanding and more sanding my spitfire is finally getting new paint.
Here it is in primer. I used Kirker Enduro prime epoxy over etched bare metal and several layers of Kirker Perfect prime high fill urethane. I am hopeful I will have the time to block sand the primer one more time and top coat the body this weekend.
It sure is sweet to get to the putting things together stage of the project!

You are getting to the fun part!. You will notice how fast it will go together from now on and how long it took to get this far. Looks great!
