What's fugly about it other than the bad flame job? I know I'd like to see more of the conversion. Nothing I can see that can't be fixed with a spray gun in a weekend.

agree. No history on it, bit noticed it when Dan first posted. Looks like an interesting car. There's a TR3 in a garage near me that's been sitting for 5 or 6 years; one of these days I'm going to check into it.

I think I have seen pictures of that car somewhere else too. I think it is pretty interesting and probably a lot of fun.

Rob. I couldn't let a Texas TR3 sit for 5 or 6 minutes let alone 5 or 6 years. Think of it no rusty frame floors fender bottoms body mounts,.All the stuff we have to deal with as amatter of course up here in Canada. Wow I'll be dreaming of being you to night. Like winning the lottery. Tim

yeah, it's been a test of patience. Owner isn't the friendly sort. It is inside a garage and don't think it's been moved but no idea of the condition. It's black and in the back of the garage with a golf cart & some other stuff in front of it. There's another neighbor with a very good condition TR6 that's been sitting in his garage since he got a miata 3-4yrs ago too.

This TR3 is/was owned by Gus Hooper, a member of the British Custom Car Club.

A few very nice, but a lot of very strange modified British cars on that site! :)

Regarding the "hardtuned" website, there is a photo of Jim Blackwood's car being shown as belonging to someone going by the name of Stan P. I hate lying scumbags!!!

Also found photos of Mike Donovan's TR3 on the "hardtuned" website, again, someone else claiming it is their car.
