Spitfire bonnet work

Hi Guys,

Just thought I would post a photo of the results of my last winters labour.
I bought a very rough steel bonnet and completely refurbished it with new wings, inner arches and headlamp surrounds, and then cut a big hole in it for my new air scoop.

The photo was taken at the end of a recent classic car run around the Derbyshire Peak District which ended at Buxton Pavilion.

The car certainly turns a few heads.

Happy modifying

Graham
