Triumph 2500 TC MKII Rover V8 Swap.
Hey, I have a 2500 TC that i am making a project car and want to drop a 3.5L Rover V8 in, and was wondering how difficult it is and all the information about new engine mounts and what not also are the factory diffs LSD? Thanks

The engine bay of the 2500 TC is basically the same as the Stag which came with its own V8 that is sometimes replaced with a Rover V8.
If I remember correctly, the battery tray is moved between the 2500 and the Stag. Also when a Rover V8 is fitted people often add a bonnet bulge to clear the carbs if the use the standard twin carb arrangement. Using an MGB GT V8 manifold should avoid the need for a bulge but these days you may be going EFI instead. A standard Rover EFI plenum probably needs a bulge. |

Thankyou Heaps, so it should bolt in no sweat with out new mounts? that makes cert that much eaiser. What about the diff? will that need to be changed?
