Nitrous 347 Ford inside
I chose the 347 motor because the car already had a Ford T5 trans so it was a no-brainer it took me eight months to buy all the parts to build the motor eBay craigslist swap meets it of part costs 100 bucks I was not going to spent more than 20 bucks it took eight months the bill cost of the motor was $2800. Here is what makes the monster growl the crank and rods are scant forged plus lightened by about 20% the Pistons are Keith black single valve slot flattop chrome low tension rings. Great video. If you could can that sound you'd make a million.
And what a handsome car. I do admire it when someone sees a 'project' through in minute detail; so many begun, so few finished. Ivor |
