It is very difficult to make a ladder frame torsionally stiff ,theres just too little base X height .

I had Ted's TR6 in my shop for while once to rewrite it. I jacked up the right front to remove a tire and found that the left front wheel was also off the ground. That won't happen with a stock frame. The doors would even open and close properly. If you've ever tried that with a stock frame, you know that doesn't happen. Not as stiff as a space frame for sure, but a vast improvement over stock.
