Re: Update On My Project
Thanks for the comments guys.
I got the tach working. I have re-shimmed the front of the tub. I am working on the interior right now. The soft top is on hold till Robbins can figure out what they are doing. These cars are never really done! Some day in the future I would like to upgrade the diff to an R200. After this is done then I would like to install a Paxton supercharger and intercooler. Uh oh, sounds like a man that could have had a V-8! LOL George (I'm joking, you went a good route) |
Re: Update On My Project
Come on George That V6 went in slick as a whistle with no cutting and hacking. The motor and transmission is about 120 pounds lighter than the original drive-train. With a supercharger the hp at the flywheel would be about 300. I think these cars are fine for 200 to 300 hp. Beyond that you are looking at major re-engineering.
Have you driven Flash much this spring? Cheers Byron |

Re: Update On My Project
I know, I'm just teasing you... I took out Flash for the first time last Sunday. The mice went easy on me this winter. He felt like he had bad fuel (I had used fuel stabilizer) for a few miles but then it cleared and he was back to his old scary self.
