Hi! All.
I have a 72 TR6 and a 1993 325i BMW engine/trans.
I've been in touch with Dennis Matthews and he is also looking into do the same swap.
We're wondering if anyone is thinking about the same swap or in the process of doing it.
Any info is greatly appreciated
Thanks Greg

Greg,
Its a tempting swap, especially after looking at this conversion [www.davintosh.com]
Not only does it keeping the sound of a straight 6 but the fit is great!?? I think it's the best looking British engine bay going.

The intimidating part is I've never modified a car past changing spark plugs...jumping into the deep end with this project! I've just started with the body/frame separation. Now i'm looking for a BMW S52 engine.

Hi! All
first day of fall.
my project suffered for a lack of time. but the engine is in place, had to cut some of the right side of the footwell.
next up exhaust mock up. the manifolds out of 328 or 323 are tubular instead of cast iron, and more clearance.
i am thinking of using those long swimming tubes for the exhaust mock. I might got with 2.5 inches pipes.
any thoughts?
also how everyone else project going?
Thanks
Greg

My BMW engine is in, along with most of the mechanical stuff. I still need to work out rad and other plumbing, pedals and a small engine harness mess.
