There are some great looking V8 engined TRs in this new association,so its worth having a look to see if any of our forum members want to revive their old cars and compete in the future.

Does the association recognize FIA Homologation paperwork? That seems to big a big road block for the TR8s and TR7V8s. SCCA limits them to ITS and if you bribe someone they may let you into a GT class for more abuse.

The reason that a TR 8 is allowed to have a V 8 is it came that way stock and in the late 70's group 44 ra a tr 8 in imsa class which had it's own crazy rules. witch were similer to trans am under 3 lter rules witch allowed most any thing you could through into the car.
