What is the difference between a TR8 EFI tank and carb tank. Is a TR7 EFI tank the same as a TR8 EFI?

We put EFI in a TR7 and simply added a Bosch clone fuel pump below the tank where it can gravity feed.

The TR8 EFI tank had a primitive swirl pot in it

Yeah but does it need it? Drains out the bottom.

Jim, My last rendition of mine sure needed one.
Ran out of fuel at right hand sweepers when it got below a qtr. tank

I suppose Dan might be interested in knowing that. OR, maybe it's just your warning to stop for gas!

Figured that out real quick
Keep the tank above half

I should say that my tank was not an EFI tank
Out of a TR7

So the TR7 EFI tank does not have a swirl pot? Or do you know?
