My version of electric steering. not as polished as some of the others, but very easily accomplished.

Probably because they are too large. There are a number of free online sites to bring them down to a manageable size. Drop the width to 600 pixels.

Carl was going to reconfigure the photos so they could be up loaded.
I mounted the the unit in the engine compartment. I used a 1/2 drive universal joint to couple the the unit to the steering column. I shaped the male end of the universal to fit into the column and used the original clamp to secure the joint. I shortened the input shaft of the unit and machined it square to fit into the female end of the universal joint. A standard universal joint connected the output to the intermediate shaft. A couple of angle brackets hold the unit in place.
All in all pretty simple conversion.

Ken mounted his in the engine bay as well.

I would need to relocate my battery to the trunk.

I may explore this option.
