More conversions at Chico British car show!

A TR6 with a Blue Oval 302. I talked with this guy awhile. He had picked this 6 up in Alaska, brought it back and did his conversion quite a few years back. I sure liked how clean he did his firewall area, very clean looking. I did hand him a "How it was done sheet", maybe he will fill it out and hand it in. He did use the stock radiator and added another core to it. He said it stays cool running.

He only needed to use one Heim stand point on his steering shaft on the suspension tower (where most put one).

The clutch setup is a little different from stock, there is a arm that comes up through the foot well box.

There was about 12 Healy's all lined up!

My kids are looking at the black Tiger across the way which did draw a pretty good crowd.

The strips look pretty nice! He was able to keep everything under the hood. This show has a pretty good venue for it is held on a golf course.

This is the Blue oval 302's interior, he did cut off the around the stick shift (for his auto transmission) dash brace. He did claim he had a rust free car to start with except the battery tray area, which he did a great job in cleaning up that area.

I was able to give this owner a "How it was done sheet" when he was driving his ride into the park. This car sounded just like a stock TR6 because of using the stock exhaust. This owner never did open his hood during the show,so was unable to get some photo's of what his conversion looked like.

The Stag owner next to this car was the only stag here at the show and the original owner also. He said he was the only stag in the club for this area. So when he drove his car he was the club!

I hope the boys had a chance to see a few Spits to build some ideas and keep you busy after the LS1 is done.

Nice work promoting our sickness, plus you posted on the MG side. I am always surprised at how many OF US are out there with the sickness, the handy work, creativity, and the love for our sport.
