Reach out and touch Someone
I think we should start a new effort within our organization by making an ongoing effort to meet up with those that are near. And then post, well stuff that can be posted.
Thru BV8, I have shared our Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and British Car Days with fellow BV8ers from Canada, Ohio, WV, and NC. I have met them at Mid-Ohio Vintage Races and met them at local events with room and board at my place. OK, I do have to charge them a ride in their car. You may have seen a few postings in other threads. I know it's great to gather for the main BV8 2009 events, but that is once a year. We need to reach out and touch someone. More often! I have seen others in different threads hook up, but it would be great to have events, gatherings, shows, etc. that our members, friends, and families could identify close to them and could hook up and hold on to that fellowship. ( wait, that sounds religious ) Another Dan Blackwood visit with his TR7, this time! |

Glad to see the weather is good enough for the get together. It doesn't look cold by the looks of that top photo. Dan, when is your conversion or thought's for an engine upgrade? |

Re: Reach out and touch Someone
It was a little chilly riding back from Applebee's after dark that night. Glad I had my jacket!
The 2 liter is running pretty good, so there is no hurry on the conversion. We have been kicking around Buick V6 thoughts. Favoring a Series II 3800 at the moment, but who know? |
