Woodland British Car show!

I have never seen this before have you? A TR6 with the whole front clip tilt made in fiberglass. I have only seen this with Jim Blackwoods MGB. I don't think Jim's is fiberglass though.

I talked with someone that does work on this car with the owner. They do know of BV8.org and was wondering how to do a "How it was done article". So maybe soon I can help them accomplish this. I have a contact card.

The conversion has a 4.7 liter ford engine with a T5 transmission, Miata seats, stock rear end.

I didn't hang around long at this show because it was "HOT" 102 degrees. I was melting.

I took these photo's with my broken camera that some how got slammed with a hatch back door on the LCD screen. It was broken at the Laguna Seca races Saturday the day before. So the camera did take a good photo without seeing what was in the screen. So took 2 to just get this photo.

I don't know what that is on the front tire?

Also ran into some purists at this show that had their normal attitudes. Oh well to each his own!

Calvin--I would love to talk to the owner or other party you mentioned. Do you have a name or any info to find them with? Thanks

This is such an interesting car!

We've got to get a How It Was Done from them.

Thanks for posting it, Calvin.

I talked with the owner of this tilt front end TR6 today. Maybe this weekend I will go over to Ken's house and take a bunch of photo's and a "How it was done sheet"for him to fill out. Then it will go to Curtis so he can do his magic. Ken does know Ken Schmit that I was able to help get posted on BV8.org (Red TR6 with chevy 350). By the way Ken doesn't have a computer. Ken also has the MGB shell that the 289 came out of and I think he will list here on BV8. When I'm over there I will take photos of the MGB a well for him.

So Curtis, a blue TR6 How it was done will be coming your way soon!

Soon will maybe get a Bug-eyed Sprite on this site that is way cool. Has a Toyota 22r engine that has a NOS bottle in the trunk.

I will post some photo's in the right section soon and contact the owner for the Sprite.

Ken came by my house today! I Took a bunch of photo's but noticed these are in black & white. I guess my camera is set for BK photos. Ok in front of my house is not the greatest setting for this car. I will need to redo these photos, maybe I can get Ken to meet me over at a park with a better background setting, for a good set of photo's.

So Ken P will be getting on board with a "how it was done sheet" and get it to me soon. Once I get the sheet back from him, I will send it in to Curtis to do his magic. Check out that vent setup on the hood, and fender. The heat does flow out very well from the engine compartment.

Ken gave me a little ride with this 289 ford engine. Can't keep the power to the ground in first or second gear. A very tight handling car with negative camber up front! This car weighs in at a little under 2100 pounds. Ken thought light with this car. The tilt front end sure lightend it up + all the other little odds and ends Ken thought of.

More coming soon with Ken P's car!

Different place to install turn signals! From a German car! Ken P know's Ken Schmit( who is in BV8 photo gallerie) and said they have the same hood scoops.
