Corner weights and beyond

I suppose I'll need to start a "Journal" soon. 74' JH , stock with rag top = 2,087 lbs., split as follows: LF= 550, RF=547, RR=484, LR=505,no driver. With 225lb. driver, puts front weight bias at 52% and 53% on driver side bias. With so many basic components, to be changed and moved, this will be educated guessing at best. I'm told there are (4 )corner scales that "read" through your cell phone. Anyone familiar with these ? Onward, roverman.

This would probably be the cheapest way to go, but a pain to have to keep moving it around

Don't know of a cell phone system, but a couple of companies now offer wireless systems that don't require cables from each scale pad to the control box. That would ease setup for sure.
I recently picked up a used set of Intercomp scales for $450 and they work great. Nothing fancy with the outputs but it does show corner weights and percentage front and rear. The rest I'll have to calculate, but my phone and laptop have calculator functions so that's not a major problem.

Bill and clan, I'm considering the Intercomp EZ weigh, but doesn't metion wireless. Has outlets for computer and printer, does cg calc etc. Proform is wireless but not mention as many features. When is "Roadmaster" going on the scales ? Thanks, Art.

The Roadmaster was on the scales a few years back at the V8 meet in Durham. It wasn't complete, but had the driveline in place so most of the heavy stuff was there. Here's the shot of the scale readout.

Bill, was the engine/trans off-set to right for driver weight balance ? Thanks, roverman.

Art, I don't think we had any room to spare around the engine so it's dead center as I remember. Sort of looks like it might be that way, but only about a 50 pound difference side to side up front and much less in the rear. Our goal was to keep it under 2500 pounds, and I think we'll come in just under that now that it's finished. They're Pete Mantell's scales so don't know if he'll bring them along to Palestine this year or not, if not I'll get it on my scales when ever I get the car and get a final all up wet weight.
