New Bugeye
Hows everyone? Im here to say hi and eventually pick some of your brilliant brains...
So I was driving usual route to drop off my 6th grader & there it was sitting on the side of the road with the word FREE writen across the bonnet, stopped by and let them know I want it. I brought home the next day it had been sitting in a make shift barn since 1978, and is really close to complete. I am unsure of the year the owner will be sending me all papers by mail shortly. One question now what is the easiest swap on one of these little things? I am a Nissan/Datsun guy so if this a good swap please let me know? Pics will be posted tomorrow.... Hope to get as much help on this forum as I do on the Nissan sites |

Re: New Bugeye
Welcome, Matt.
Just about everything has been swapped into a Bugeye with varying degree of success, right up to a Hemi. Easiest swap into a Bugeye is a "big block" 1275 cc motor from a later Spridget. Other popular swaps are Mazda 13Bs, Suzuki twin cams, Miata motors and there's even a Nissan here: [www.britishv8.org] How crazy do you want to go? |
