Hemi Healey (AC 6.1) Update
Car is starting to look like a tub. Rear end and suspension come out next. This will allow cutting-out for new seat pockets. RX7 irs( 4 point mounting) goes in for locating cage pick-up points. Since Supra bell housing is likely to be employed,(AX 15/sbm) being impossible to find, aluminum mid-mount plate will double as engine/bell housing adapter. Based on Jim B's experiences with TR 7's smoke generator,(harness), think I'll ditch Healey harness and avoid meeting with a fire truck ? Onward, roverman.

Re: Hemi Healey (AC 6.1) Update 3/30/12
Seats back, seats forward ? Flux state of evolution/design migration. Supra box-gone. RX 7 diff-gone. Boxter S (6) speed t-axle-in. Vette C5 rigid torque tube, possible,(ordered tubing to lengthen, approx 12" Porsche 944 turbo or 928 might be a better match to Boxter t-axle. Clutch at t-axle-(Alpha GTV 6), looks like diminishing returns, unless it has 1"-23 input splines, like Boxter.. For the JH tunnel to swallow a 6 speed t-axle and a C5 torque tube, will take "cutting"- scary. I didn't really think all these changes, would be bolt-in. Seats may now wind up maybe 2-4" back from original rear standard position. This is my biggest project since a 1950 Stude pick-up, not much in common. Off into the great unknown, roverman.

Re: Hemi Healey (AC 6.1) Update 5/08/12
Boxster t-axle is 15.25" shorter centerline of output flanges to mounting face, as compaired to C5 Vette. Moving hemi back 15.25", not a good option. I will lengthen C5 torque tube "X" amount. Plan is to suspend/hang the t-axle, torque tube and engine block, using adjustable all-thread,(vertically), to determined ideal location and compute final torque tube length. Onward, roverman.

Re: Hemi Healey (AC 6.1) Update 1/3/13
Boxster axle splines do not fit 930 cv joints ! It appears the root diameter of splines, is slightly bigger. Not to worry, aftermarket axles are a better option, but this requires using the 930 "spider" portion of the cv, to fit into the Boxster stub axle. All of the ratios in the 6 speed are performance,(close to geometric). This means at say 60 mph, in 6th, rpm will approximate 2,500-3k ? Too early to tell. Cheers, roverman.

Re: Hemi Healey (AC 6.1) Update
Ok, The engine bay is generous, but booster needs to go. I'd like to make this non-assisted brakes and steering,( I need the exercise).Would like r154 shifter in the Healey hole, aka engine set back. I want 55%/less weight on front. Rear radiator ? 340 will weigh bout' 200 lbs over the 907 ? Onward, roverman.

Re: Hemi Healey (AC 6.1) Update
Thanks, man. I bought it new in 2005 when I first read about them coming out. Ordered the personalized plate before the car was delivered and ran it on my 95 Z/28 until the car came in. Had to search all over to get one for sticker back then. Only has 57k on it. It needed some paint scratches repaired and the wheels refinished so that picture is after its beauty treatment. I've shaved the side trim and installed a Tommy Z Designs deep dish grille, but otherwise it's stock. It's a great car to drive and I still enjoy every minute behind the wheel. With 425 hp, it's hard not to.
