I am in the process of recovering my dash and putting in new VDO gauges for my BT7. The old dash has a screw on the top /Middle to hold it in place. Is this necessary. I hate to put a screw into the brand new vinyl of my dash.It just doesnt seem to be the correct method of securing the dash.
