U joints for modifying steering shaft for LS1 V8

I have my LS1 V8 in my Healey 100-6 and due to its width, I have to modify the steering shaft with two u joints. These u joints are sold as 3/4" and the shaft going into the steering gear box is 7/8". I could machine a coupling adapter to make this work. Any other ideas?

A UA150100 Woodward steering joint weld 5/8" to a 3/4" would probably work for you?

[www.woodwardsteering.com] look in the u-joint section
