Rick, that looks like a ton of fun. I can't wait to get mine out on an autocross course.

Lots of fun for $35! It feels a lot faster than it looks. We had a real wide-open course when I was in college that the Vettes could hit 85 mph on. Rotten neighbors shut us down! You're about the same age as me. Remember the Honey West tv show with the Cobra? Here's that same car running the autocross with me:

He definitely wasn't braking any speed records on that run. Didn't hear the first tire squeal.

That is sad and weird. Hit RF fender and RR wheel appears to have about 6 deg. positive camber ?

Optical illusion. The pavement is quite a bit higher than the dirt on the shoulder.. Impact didn't disturb any of the alignment on the car - 1st thing I checked.

Should have been at the Goodguys Delmar in April, I thoroughly embarrassed myself on 18 year old tires. Have replaced them since then so it sticks better now.

I can relate. Been running around on new 10 yr old tires. Not much grip there.

I thought about doing a massive burnout with them before I took them off but with my luck they would have shredded and tore up the bodywork..

Well, you likely nailed (oldest tires at the event) ? What's next ?
