When I was at Roadkill in Tucson in January 2017, I won "Best Engine Swap".

Fantastic
There's a big chunk of your life tied up in that car. And it looks as if it's not been messed with since you sold it.
Hope it brings you many happy hours of driving.
Emphasis on the driving, so I hope the engine issue isn't major. Be careful it doesn't turn into a resto project !!

Ivor

I love to watch the birth of the car from the very beginning to the moment when it will drive the first mile. A couple of such works can be found here.

So we moved again. But here's some engine bay pics, while we self quarantine.

Hey, everybody. I've spent some time changing the look of the car.

Welcome home!

I really like this car - at least conceptually. More pics of mechanical details would be great!

Great job.

A couple of friends and I made a removable hardtop for a 62 Healey Mk II back in the late 60s. I don't remember it being a conscious decision but the top is very similar to the Kellison top of the 50s. I think if we had known about the Kellison top we would have bought it rather than hand building ours out of aluminum.

The car has been boxed up for 47 years and is about to get it's engine reinstalled and the interior replaced. I have resisted going the Toyota route but the engine has been fully done and is carrying the triple Weber set-up.

The car will also be sporting rear disc brakes -- the Jaguar version.

Hope to be on the road by fall.

Warren, that's VERY, VERY cool. I'm keen to hear more about your project of restoring and updating the 100-GT!

I've been trying to change the brake master cylinder to an electric one from a 2017 CRV.

But the booster has a shudder when pressed half way. Any thoughts? Check out "iBooster click and shudder in Austin Healey" on YouTube.

I was double checking that I had the wiring of the 26 pin Bosch connector on the ibooster ECU hooked up correctly. I have an extra 22 gauge black wire on position 15 that doesn't show up in the online searches. I'm curious to know if this is preventing the startup calibration, because initiating 12v on pin 20 doesn't do anything different audibly, and I get boost without it.

Hmmm.
Complexification. Beyond my pay grade.
What was the thought behind the change?
