LOL. I haven't seen no posts on a forum for a long time. I decided to post something. This lack of news is sorta indicative to my status on my project. I'm starting to flip out a little. I've been waiting for my custom machining to get done for 2 months while the racing season rolls through the shop I use.

It's cool but a bit frustrating because I'm getting close to running out of stuff to do that isn't dependent on the engine placement. That's really just an excuse though. I just want my parts home.

Everybody's been out enjoying the good weather. Traffic will pick up as cold weather settle in. I've been concentrating on shop equipment and remodeling, nobody particularly wants to hear about that.

Tony, I would be happy to keep the plasma cutter for you. After moving the one dissassembled car from my garage and the big pile of parts there is a bit of room in there now.

Nic, I am still here but I thought maybe no one was supposed to talk without permission and I wasn't sure who to ask. :) I just got my box of gaskets today so my engine assembly will begin soon, of course the block has to carry itself out of the basement and to the garage along with the 2nd block I plan to use for the mock up.

Tony, I got a D4 caterpillar you could maybe borrow. That'd make the garage bigger... ;-)

I got my parts back from Wagamon Bros. today!! DUDE! They did the last bit of work for FREE! WOW. Very cool customer service perk. Thanks guys! SO it's on to final assembly! It's been so long in coming. I'm just about to loose my mind.

Everything is setup so all I've got left to do is build a mount for the EDIS coils and find a curve for E85. OH and weld up the valve covers and water pump for the inlet from the electric pump.

Do you have E85 available in MN? Here in LA it is impossible to find. You will be able to run a rather grim CR with that fuel indeed. Are you going with FI or carburetor?

I did the math after I had my parts machined and discovered my CR is changing dramatically so it's back to regular gasoline for me. E85 is SUPER plentiful up here. I was looking forward to experimenting with it.

Hey Nicolas,

Must be real nice to get you bits back and it's nice to see that you got such good customer service... That's so rare these days!!! :(

Now that you're back on track... how long til everything is completed?

Trip
