Hi Dan,

I have those Vizard heads you pictured on the first page fitted to my 5.2 in my TVR Chimaera. I Bought them from Rob at V8 Developments.

Its been a long term project as I have had to make up a bespoke inlet manifold and induction system and have had some teething problems but we are getting there slowly.

Andy

Andrew, we'd love to have your Trevormobile in our photo gallery. Can we get you to submit a How It Was Done worksheet?

I hope this is the appropriate thread to ask the question:
Have any of you ever had the opportunity to test, or have a look at any of the REPCO heads, or the Oldsmobile Jetfire 6-stud heads? I wonder if the Olds head offers any improvements. The two major variants of REPCO heads, one, a two-valve, the other, a four-valve version certainly should. Supposedly, they were able to support 325HP, and 385HP, respectively, on a 3 liter motor, with a bore and stroke of 3.50" x 2.375".

Best,
B.

Bernard and clan, being a collector of Jetfires, this head offers no performance advantage, over, say an Olds h-icomp. head. All 215 Olds heads have a shallow bathtub type chamber, with the valves moved closer to center of bore, than Buick/Rover, semi-hemi.HP quotes for Repco, do sound impressive, but dyno sheets tell a better story. Being Formula 1, I suspect the power band is narrow, and at very high rpm ? Those currently looking for serious, non-boosted hp.might best consider the bare TA heads, for potential flow vs $'s. NOT an indorsement. Cheers, roverman.
