Viscous Coupler Found!
Getting my 1970 Rover P6 with 3.5 v8 back on the road after addressing some electrics and replacing the frozen viscous coupler. Main prob was finding the almost unobtainable vc to fit a water pump with pulleys that would allow the air conditioner and power steering to remain useable. Was almost ready to eliminate the a/c. put a short-nose Buick 215 w/p on and find a universal electric fan just to get the old beauty back on the road. Kudos to an old school parts guy at Rover North who was able to find interchangeable landie parts that with minimal honing would fit my w/p. Had to buy a new fan to go with it however. On the road soon!!

That's fantastic Jim.( pun intended.)
It's nice to see that there are parts guys out there that can work on FM. Despite all the bad experiences in big box parts stores. Live like you mean it. Fred |
