Main British Car:

Buick v6 intake and carbs

I am building a Karma GT kit car. The engine of choice is a Buick Grand National V6, but I am trying to get away from the trubo. I have attached a picture of a intake that looks it could hold weber carbs. I found this picture on the web but there was no info on it as to manfacture. Is there anyone if the group might know the info on that part.

Thanks
Jozz

Just going by the mounting holes, it doesn't look like it to me. Unless, it is the bottom half of a two piece manifold.

Your pic is of the bottom half of a 3800 intake, won't fit the older 3.8. I always thought the turbo intake could be modified for a 4 barrel carb. Of course there are aftermarket intakes.

Welcome to BritishV8!

Karma GT's are VERY cool looking cars. I bet you're having a lot of fun with your project.

I see that both of the manifolds above have bosses for fuel injectors...

Looking closer, the two manifolds have very different port spacing.

I don't believe the first manifold mates to Buick Grand National cylinder heads.
