OR/WA 215 Engine builder
Looking for recommendations on a builder. Build would be a mild 281-ish CI motor looking for 280-300 HP. I have most of the hard parts (sleeved block, 300 crank with mains turned down, 300 heads that may or may not need porting) just might have to change shops due to 2020 and all.
Closer to Portland the better. |

Re: OR/WA 215 Engine builder
I don't think he is any longer Jim. It's been years since I've heard any news about the business.
I was at Phil's place a few times back in the day. He was a really nice guy and a wealth of knowledge. Still running a Phil Baker modified block in my car. Bill Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/18/2020 12:40AM by MG four six eight. |

Re: OR/WA 215 Engine builder
Thanks! I'll keep them on a short list for a backup. Do they have a flow bench and/or an engine dyno?

Re: OR/WA 215 Engine builder
I have not seen a flow bench or dyno but they do Brit and euro engines(Jag, rolls,Ferrari, etc) and vintage. Quality work
