HIP. process for castings, etc.

Anyone use this process? "Hi Intensity Pressure", as in 15,000 psi @ 970F with nitrogen or argon as the inert gas. Squeezes aluminum castings to the density of billet. Cast crankshafts? Bimetal, reinforced castings ? Great for shrinking things. Anyone ? roverman.
