Has anyone been able to determine if the Willpower intake from Australia and the Wildcat intake from england are the same thing?
If you know differences?? please elaborate.

Tony, sorree for late response, I just noticed this. I have a Stage II Wildcat 4bbl coming ,"someday",from Ian. Port size is reportedly equal to 340 Buick,"large', only ports are raised .5"? Ian assured me, there's enough meat for me to wittle-off to match the 340 ports. As per what I can flow with the iron head? I want 220 cfm.@ 28", I may be left, "wanting". Cheers, roverman.

since posting this I have bought a willpower intake.
according to Bill Laney from Australia they ( willpower) cast the intakes for Ian. the stage 1 wildcat and the willpower are the same manifold.. The stage II Wildcat is a different deal like you said.. Im not sure who casts that one.

Great looking intake. I want one, too!

Can you measure the height for us?

as placed on the floor.

the height as measured from the floor to the top of carb pad is roughly 3 5/8"

Oops, I just got word, I'm not getting a Stg. II but a Stg I that is supposedly ,"easy", to port to "340" size. Port size on the "pictured" manifold? Anyone had Chris Skaling port a set of Buick/Rover heads? Anyone used Loctite brand, anerobic adhesive, "sleeve retainer", for new liners? Thanks, roverman.

Are you sure about that?

Perhaps I should ask Ian for his definition of "easy"? I may need to build from alum. sheet. As of this date, no has stated their cfm. on ported, iron 300 heads. Yes I have heard of 300 rwhp. That does't equate for me. thanks, roverman.

Hey sbb/rover people. Forget all that and think about casting your "own" design, bottomless intake ! You could prove-out the flow with your "pattern", before you pour metal. Something to think about. roverman.

Art, I'm going to piece together an intake rather than casting. (Don't have the foundry capabilities here yet, and may never build them.) For a one-off it's probably cheaper and easier that way, and no messing around with patterns.

Jim, I agree, for one-off, no doubt. Some of the 350 Buick folks were complaining for the lack of aftermarket intakes. Off-course in a casting it's easier to get compound curves and fillets. The concept I proposed was to show how it's not "hopeless" for the individual to build. My local foundry charges approx. $4..50/lb for heat treated #356-T6 in "loose box" casting. By not using core boxes/etc., the bottomless intake thinks it's similar to a valve cover. roverman.

OK, well I'm not sure just how that works, but wouldn't they require a minimum?
