Who will take the plunge ? Just won the "Engine Masters Shoot Out". Stroked 5.7L,(417") = 700 hp.@ 6,500. Jus' right for a Daimler up-grade ? Better-yet, ? bout a Hemi Healey ?, Jensen that is. R154 5spd is a direct fit. RX7 posi/irs. roverman.

With accessories, and without ? 100 lbs less with alum block. Lots of potential,( up to 440"). Plentiful, relatively cheep,(non efi). Hemi Healey ? I smell burning rubber and big suspension/brake upgrade, roverman.

Jim and clan. "Mopar Performance" sells 6.4L thru 440" all alum. crate motors. "forabodiesonly" has a series III Hemi engine and swap section. "Engine weights", list it as 485 lbs, with accessories. Aluminum block IS pricey ! Reportedly, the 09'-up (eagle) oem. head, is the hot set-up, 330 cfm/oob. Owners of these series of cars are claiming 450+ hp, out back and 20 mpg. Will wonders never cease ? Cheers, Art.
