Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but,
My Rover distributor has two wires, one white, one white with black tracer.
Which one goes to the ignition coil positive, and other to negative?

Hi Ian,
The white wire is 12 volts positive (+ side of the coil).
The white with black wire is the negative output (- out to the coil) this wire also feeds (through a resistor) to the computer.
