Titanium-oooooooh. There going on "Hemi Healey". Anyone use these ? 1/3 lighter than steel, reportedly dissipate heat better. Plan is to run aluminum exhaust tubing to these from stainless headers, with cut-outs. Shouldn't aluminum provide "slight" reduction in back pressure, due to temperature drop ? Onward, roverman.

I saw them removed from a Z06 on a TV show this weekend, they're huge! Where are you going to find room under your car for those things? I think I'd be a bit leery of using aluminum tubing on the exhaust system due to the temps involved. Stick with stainless, I think you'll be better off even if it's a few pounds heavier.

Bill and clan, you know, "the camera adds 10 lbs"/lol. All the way to the back, jus' like a Vette, only under the radiator. Maybe a heat shield, but both in the Jet Stream. Back in the day, Pontiac had "Cast Aluminum Headers", when they put the 421" V8 into the Nascar/drags, 63" Tempest. Aluminum heads don't melt at the exhaust port, etc. Not saying I will, but free flowing exhaust pipes "should" run cooler than at the header. Thanks, roverman.
