302 Oil fill level

For anyone who does - or already did - what I did, the oil full line is 3.4" below the oil pan rail. So, what did I do? Well, I marked my after market dipstick a long time ago. I recall putting two marks but don't remember which is the right one. And since the filter is remoted and and I'm running a larger filter, I couldn't just fill it to spec or I knew I'd be low. I called Ford and the 3.4" measurement came from them. Just posting here in case someone else can use the info.
