Hi guys. I've just joined. does anyone know which bellhousing will mate the original tiger (ford) 4 speed from a 5bolt 260 to a 6 bolt 302?
also has anyone had any experience of twisted wedge heads on this block?
This is going in a series 5 alpine rust free shell, it won't be called a tiger!!!!!!

Early 289 6 bolt all the way to early 70's 302 and 351 W and Cleveland. Some mid 70's Granada's and Monarch's had later(same as T5) and earlier patterns on 4 speed Overdrive trans. Later SROD and T5 bells are 3/4" deeper bell and newer pattern. There are adapters to go from early bell to later T5 pattern also.

Hi thanks for the reply. I was thinking of using a lakewood item, I think item 15200 is the right bellhousing, I'm not sure if i need spacers etc. This is probably an easier option as there aren't any breakers in Ireland for american cars and used manual bellhousings aren't that common in the UK.
