I can spend $23 ea. and $29. each for berylium alloy valves seats, but I'd rather not,(cheap) ! I'd sooner make my own from "AMPCO 45" or continuous cast #630 bronze alloy tube. The "problem" is where to buy ? Anybody out there, with a good lead ? The TA heads have "Martin Wells" seats that will destroy titanium valves. Yes I know, why not run stainless ? TOO EASY/lol. Material of choice is "Ampco AMS 4880D" This being continous cast bronze nickel alloy,(tube), with a brinell hardness of 221. Thanks, roverman.
