200-4L automatic for serious hp ?

Anyone here have direct experience ? I'm considering a 750+ hp. version from Art Carr. It appears a comparable strength 4L80E, with Compushift controller, would cost 2-$3k, more ? 33% od. makes 4:56's into 3:0's. Thanks, roverman.

Art, the 2004r has better gear ratios and is routinely used behind high horsepower big block Buick engines. Art Carr is one of the big names in that market but there are others as well. Replacement of a few key parts are all it really takes to make it bulletproof. I had one I was going to build for my car but decided on the 8 speed instead.
