Hey guys,
Can anyone recommend an engine builder in the Seattle, WA/ Portland, Or area that is familiar with building the BOP/Rover 3.5 liter motors? I would appreciate any suggestions regarding builders and/or parts suppliers. Thanks all.

EGR motor, possibly 3.9L ? What does stamping say ? No mystery on rebuilding this engine. Silvolite makes cast pistons. Northwest Britsh has parts. I bet Jim Nichols-knows. Good Luck, roverman.

Years ago Phil Baker in Everett was THE guy, but he passed away. I don't know if his family kept the shop going or not. I usually do all my own work. There are some good MGB resto shops around but, I don't know how much they know about the Buick/Rover V8. I'm currently in Kingman, AZ.

I know Phil's son was running the place. Don't know if he still is.

If you don't want to tackle it, see if Bill Jacobson (MG four six eight) is interested. He's in Burlington, Washington. He does top notch work.

Sad about Phil. Ive bought some things from him a few years ago.. At the time he said his son was inventorying things and moving them into storage.. I had tried the number earlier today before I read this and it was disconnected.
