I have a rv 4.0 engine , this engine came with the direct fire ignition system with coilpacks. I want to use a distributor from a rv3.9 with the rv efi engine management ,using the rv 4.0 front timing cover with the blank out bored out and also the better oil pump what camshaft can I use to achieve my goals Thanks Guys

Hey Peter,

No one has chimed in here and I was curious also because this is one route I'm considering as the MegaSquirt system is pricey and I'll have to learn a new set of software and engine tuning to even get it to start with direct fire. So, there are some good articles on this from a few years ago. Search cams and you'll see Crower come up and Crane Cams. Then call some of the vendors here and discuss what they recommend. Hap and some others are great to speak with and willing to share their knowledge base. Just buy it from one of them if you want to support this site.
