1. If I were to use olds 215 block, 300 crank, and chevy rods, is there a set of forged pistons to be had cheaper than olds or buick specific application?

2. Is there a good reason to not use solid lifters in these engines? I have been setting solid lifters in the Brit cars for 30 years with no problem. Don't these open up some cam options like the Crane f 248 I saw listed. Other than noise and ease of use I mean.

3. Anybody running an aluminum flywheel? I bet you can feel the difference in light car. ?

4. Should 300 heads be used to make best of 215 engine?

Just engine build decisions to make on a budget. I have the 300 stuff

Thanks
